Step 1: Preparation & Disinfection
- Check that the product packaging is intact, unexpired, and undamaged.
- Disinfect the product surface with 75% alcohol to ensure it is free from contamination.
- Wash hands and the genital area. Choose a clean, quiet, and comfortable environment for use.
Step 2: Component Connection & Air Expulsion
- Attach the extension catheter and two-way valve to the balloon catheter in sequence. Ensure secure connection.
- Open the two-way valve and use a syringe to fill the balloon with normal saline to expel air. Then close the valve.
Step 3: Insertion & Fixation
- Apply water-based lubricant evenly on the balloon catheter surface to reduce discomfort.
- Gently insert the device into the vaginal cavity and adjust the depth as needed.
Step 4: Inflation & Expansion
- Open the two-way valve and inject normal saline slowly using a syringe.
- Gradually increase the saline volume until the balloon reaches the inflation level recommended by your physician or therapist.
- Then close the valve.Leave the device in place for the duration specified by your physician or therapist.
Step 5: Deflation & Removal
- Open the two-way valve and withdraw all saline using a syringe to fully deflate the balloon.
- Once deflated, gently remove the device.
Step 6: Cleaning & Storage
- Clean both the exterior and inner lumen of the balloon catheter with a neutral cleanser and 75% alcohol after each use.
- Allow to dry completely. Store the device at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid moisture, compression, bending, or exposure to direct sunlight.
- Do not reuse the product if it shows any signs of damage or deformation.
Step 7: Reuse Guidelines
- The product is reusable. Under normal use and proper storage, it supports up to 90 hours of total inflation time or up to 300 uses.
- Recommended usage period 3 months.
- Clean and disinfect thoroughly after each use to ensure hygiene and safety.
